Sean's Birthday

We headed to Nashville for Sean's 38th birthday!!! It was so much fun! Nashville really is a beautiful place. It reminded us of Idaho Falls! I tried to surprise him with the trip and tickets to a Garth Brooks concert on his birthday, but the secret got out before we could get on our trip, no surprise. Here we are on his birthday eating at the Wild Horse Saloon in the Entertainment District in Nashville!

That day, we visited The Opryland Hotel. It is HUGE and amazing!!! In this shot, we are overlooking an island inside the hotel. This part of the hotel had gardens, shops, restraunts, and a river that ran underneath a bridge that you could sight see on. Incredible!!!

Here we are standing in front of Bridgestone Arena waiting for the Garth Brook's concert to start!

Our garden didn't produce much corn this year, but the kids enjoyed the ears we did get!

Wiggi

Tyler's hamster Wiggi escaped from his cage on Sunday. He must have fallen down a vent from the upstairs, down into a small section of wall downstairs. We heard him scratching in the wall for over a day, and Sean was finally able to free him.
Lucky Hamster!!!!

I know I haven't written for a long time, but life has been crazy! I hope that all of you out there are doing well. We have had quite an eventful month, but made it through and are glad to be beginning June! Good luck to you all with your "summer" schedules!
Here is Tagg after getting his first haircut at the beginning of May.
What a doll!!

We hit Tautphus park a few weeks ago with the kids. It was a beautiful day and we decided
to leave dad at home to recover from knee surgery.

The end of elementary school has arrived!!!! Savanah is now officially off to Jr. High, and
without a moment or (brain cell) to lose!!!!
She had a great year, made a lot of new friends (including boys- much to her father's
dismay), and all in all - grew up quite a bit. (Although the pictures say otherwise!)
Here's to another school year!!!!

Savanah Dancing

This slideshow contains some pics of Savanah at some of her dance venues. She has been competing pretty much the whole month of March, and won a "High gold" for one of her group dances! Because of this, she was invited to go back to Utah, and perform with a professional dance group, Odyssey, at the University of Utah on March 19! It was a blast! Thanks to Aunt Nicole for watching Taggy and housing us twice in one week! Savanah will also be dancing at "Staduim of Fire" in Provo, Ut on the 4th of July! The Jonas Brothers are the headline for this event and she is SOOOOOO excited to dance with them and meet them "in person!"

Taggart

Taggart has been the subject of all of Savanah's recent photos! The Flickr slideshow shows some of the best of Taggy taken by Savanah.

February 20-Sean went in to the hospital to have his corisone
injection and epidural! Tagg and I came along for moral
support-we know how daddy is with needles!
Sean did great, and is feeling 100% better!
He says he can still feel pressure in his knee and back,
but no more pain! Yeah!
The worst part of the whole procedure for him was
having the nurse put a band-aid on his back.
That totally wigged him out to think that because a needle had
been in his back-blood had come out!

Well, its official. We now have a pre-teen on our hands!
Savanah turned 12 on Monday and it was a wonderful day!
She received some wonderful gifts from her family and friends.
Sean and I gave her a camera, and as we were buying it, Sean
asked, "What will she do with a camera?"
Well, for those of you who aren't girls-let me tell you.
She is going to take pictures (mostly of herself!)
All these photos were taken with her camera!
Happy Birthday Savanah!
We love you!!!!!!!

Yes, She loves to take pics of herself! This is her "yo" pose.
My two hams yummin' it up for the camera!

Syd, need I say more!
Grandma Bean. Yes mom, I realize I posted a picture of you!

Livy, who is not camera shy!
Candid shot of Grandma Finch!
Surprised Grandpa Finch!
We aren't sure if these two weren't meant to be brothers instead of
nephew and uncle! I love how they play together! Thanks Uncle Elih!
